To the Editor,
YOUR TOWN NEEDS YOU!!
The entire community and district are aware that we desperately need a fully operational Bank to serve us all. A few from our community have already shown support, by pledging their enthusiasm with great ideas of where our bank’s profits could be spent to improve our town’s facilities. In addition, they have pledged an amount of money to- wards our goal of $700,000 to make this happen.
The Canowindra District Community Bank wishes to thank those who have already shown their support, by returning pledge forms. It has been a strong start.
Meanwhile our targets are still well below the required levels, for a feasibility study to take place. By pledging your support, you are showing an “expression of interest” in forming our own bank.
We desperately need the whole community to make a pledge of support, express where you would like to see profits spent, and financial interest, no matter how big or small, to help reach our target. It’s not just a matter of money, but a show of hands from the whole community, to get things off the ground.
We strongly urge those with forms to drop them into the confidential boxes at The Canowindra Phoenix Office and Billy Paul’s Carpet shop. They all have forms to fill in and information to take, but please remember to return them. We are hoping to have forms delivered to every mail box in the area soon, so keep an eye out.
Importantly, again don’t forget to re- turn them to the boxes or mail them back.
We all need a bank that will serve us face to face, and personally, with a large percentage of the profits going toward improving facilities we can all appreciate.
Yours sincerely,
James Isaacs
