During the School Holidays about 28 children from Canowindra & surrounding towns participated in a three hour NRL clinic at Tom Clyburn Oval. The Play NRL Holiday Clinic is a day program for kids aged between 5 and 12 of any gender that focuses on fun, fitness and participation. Generally the NRL try to share the locations around each year, but with the Western Region so big it takes time to see all the towns. The holiday program activities are designed to cover evasion, catch and pass, kicking and tackling skills which are all very important in Rugby League. On the day the kids enjoyed a number of different drills & games as well as a couple of different challenges.

a large number of Rugby League and League Tag Gala Days for local schools to participate in. While as a team we cover all of Western NSW, I’m based out of Parkes & predominantly cover the Lachlan region.
