Canowindra Fine Music is proud to announce that the well respected and incredibly talented ABC FM radio announcer Marian Arnold has accepted the role of Patron of Baroquefest. Not only does Marian’s acceptance bring creditably to our event, she also brings the opportunity for her many fans to meet her and learn from her vast experience.
Marian is a highly regarded and well respected presenter who has been part
of weekend programming for many years. Raised and schooled in Orange, Marian has a special affiliation with the Central West. She is an accomplished musician in her own right and has a depth of knowledge that is at once enlightening and entertaining on her specially selected program on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
For many years, Marian’s show was a request program for which she performed great feats in tracking down obscure requests and introducing them to listeners with all the excitement of a new discovery. According to Canowindra Fine Music, “ABC FM Radio is one of the best things to ever
cross the Blue Mountains and settle life in the Central West”.
The members of the Canowindra Fine Music committee are delighted that Marian has accepted their invitation to be a patron for Baroquefest, and Marian is equally delighted with the development of this new initiative
to bring fine music over the mountains and into the west.
Marian and her husband will spend the weekend of Baroquefest in Canowindra to attend the concerts and Marian will also speak at each of the concerts, no doubt offering some pearls of wisdom along the way.
