How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what do you like about living here? I have lived in Canowindra for 24 years in December. The best thing about Canowindra is the spirit of community and you can always stop to have a chat with everyone. Great family town!
Where do you work? I work on our small farm with my husband Grant and do the odd cleaning job. I also do volunteer work at the Canowindra Bowling Club.
What do you enjoy most about your work? I love the freedom of farm work – no clocks! I really love working with the Bowling ladies at our Bowling carnivals and community events.
How do you start your day? With a coffee and a stretch.
What do you do to unwind after work or on the weekends? I love some wines and beers and eats with family and friends on the weekend.
What are you good at? I’m really good at organising and…drinking wine and beers with family and friends often LOL!
If you could have a super power what would it be? Definitely FLYING.
Tell us about your best holiday ever? I don’t take holidays often. The best holiday ever has to be my daughter Karlas wedding in Cessnock. My family was there and also my dearest friends from Melbourne. Four lovely relaxing days. Heaven!
What makes your day? Having my 5 year old Granddaughter Poppy stay over. Poppy follows me around helping me, then tells me a joke (that she makes up). I laugh and she squeezes me and tells me that she loves me to the stars and back.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I’m OCD…and think everyone has noticed!
