Our Gal – Melissa Trengove

27 March, 2019 By editor

Melissa Trengove

How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what is the best thing about living here? I have lived near Cargo for 9 years. I really enjoy the country community around Canowindra and living on our little farm.

Where do you work or what do you do currently and what do you enjoy about it? I have worked for Nufarm as a Sales Manager for the past 11 years based in the Central West. I enjoy working for an Australian company and working with farmers to improve productivity in both broadacre and horticulture farming.

What is your favourite thing to do when you have free time? Spending time with the family, water skiing and camping. I also enjoy gardening and taking photos.

What makes you proud? Raising three little munchkins and being a hard working role model.

If you could be an animal which one would you choose and why? Not really an animal but being a mermaid would be very cool.

What is your all-time favourite movie, song and/or book, and why? Very much into the Outlander books and TV series. I’ve been reading the books for years and the series is great. Going back in time would be interesting.

What is on your bucket list? To travel to Europe.

What are you really good at? Being organised and motivated.

Tell us about your best holiday ever?
As a teenager my family won a trip to Maroochydore. It was my first time on a plane.

What makes your day? When the kids behave and I have coffee.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I used to (many moons ago) be a competitive gymnast.
