
How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what is the best thing about living here? 10 years. The beautiful country air and the friendly township.
How are you involved in the Canowindra community? I have my own home assistance business. I help not only the elderly, but whoever needs assistance in their homes. I do personal assistance, cleaning, respite, transport and more. I do whatever needs to be done.
Where do you work or what do you do currently and what do you enjoy about it? I own and operate Mary’s Home Assistance. I feel valued and appreciated knowing I am doing the hard work other people cannot do.
What is your favourite thing to do when you have free time? Netflix, Netflix, Netflix!
What makes you proud? My family. My two daughters and my husband.
If you could be an animal which one would you choose and why? A pussy cat. I could sleep all day.
What is on your bucket list? Maybe travel Australia and overseas. I would like to slow down and retire one day.
What are you good at? Caring and empathy.
Tell us about your best holiday ever? Just before COVID-19, we went to Fiji. It was great because the whole family went together. It was a milestone we will never be able to reach again.
What makes your day? Looking forward to seeing my clients and knowing I am coming back home to my beautiful husband who cooks me dinner.
