How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what is the best thing about living here? I was born in Canowindra at Grantham Hospital. I have lived here for about 60 years. I love the town, the people and my extended family. The love, care and generosity of people are great attributes of so many.
Where do you work or what do you do currently and what do you enjoy about it? I am retired but experienced a wonderful life working for health in various areas.
What is your favourite thing to do when you have free time? Playing the piano and organ, reading, being with friends and family and being a part of the Christian family in Canowindra.
What makes you proud? My children and grandchildren. My achievements at work and in life and also my wonderful marriage of 59 years.
If you could be an animal which one would you choose and why? A kelpie sheep dog as they are faithful, well trained, intuitive and good at their job.
What is on your bucket list? To explore Lake Mungo.
What are you really good at? Strategic planning.
Tell us about your best holiday ever? Visiting health services in Europe and addressing the WHO Conference in Poland and Sweden.
What makes your day? Being well.
