Debra Clarke
How long have you lived around Canowindra?
For four years. I used to live in Lorne, Victoria, on the Great Ocean Road.
What made you move here? I wanted to be closer to family, start my own working farm and live with my horses.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I love to travel and play representative touch football. I also enjoy gardening, spending time with my horses and I’m currently writing a young adult, fiction novel.
If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? In a few years I’d love to do my dream trip to Machu Picchu then Patagonia to see the glaciers and then hike around Bolivia to Lake Titicaca. Oh! Also in Norway there are these glass igloos you can stay in and watch the Northern Lights.
Do you enjoy sports? Yes, I play touch football and love watching a bit of motor racing. I’m improving my sprint work with Ron Lake at the moment too.
What’s your worst habit? Sometimes I’m too loud! Haha
