Our Gal – Dannii Clark

4 November, 2021 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Canowindra? What do you like about living here? I moved here with my family in mid-2012.

How are you involved with the community? We try to participate and attend local markets and functions as often as we can.

Where do you work? What do you enjoy most about where you work? I’m a program manager for OSHC in Orange. I enjoy seeing the kids develop their social skills and friendships they may not have otherwise formed. I also really enjoy being involved in extracurricular activities.

What do you do to unwind on weekends? I’m currently studying, so that takes up most of my weekends. I’m hoping to be able to go camping & kayaking this summer.

What are you really good at? I think I’m really good at listening to people and helping them find the practical solutions to issues they may be having.

What’s your pet hate? Chewing with your mouth open.

What’s on your bucket list? I’d really want to walk the “Western Front” tour in Germany/France.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? Flying, because many of my family live far away and I would be able to see them more.

Tell us about your best holiday ever… As a kid, we used to holiday in Coffs Harbour. One time we got bikes for Christmas and my dad taught me how to ride in a park near the beach!

What makes your day? The sunset on my drive home.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself… I once broke a VCR player by watching “The Sound of Music” too many times.
