Our Gal – Danielle Kinsela

28 January, 2021 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what is the best thing about living here? I was born here (well Cowra Hospital!) and lived here until I was 18. I returned five years ago to raise my twins close to family.

Where do you work or what do you do currently and what do you enjoy about it? I am an acupuncture practitioner at Chiropractic Life Canowindra. I love helping people to be happy and healthy.

What is your favourite thing to do when you have free time? I love finding new places to hang out in nature.

What makes you proud? My boys! They are growing into hilarious, crazy and capable little humans.

What is your all-time favourite movie, song and/or book, and why? My all-time favourite song is What I Am by Edie Bricknell and the New Bohemians.

What is on your bucket list? I really want to go to Wudang Mountain in China and study more Tai chi and Qigong.

What are you really good at? Relaxing its a skill that I’ve had to practice!

Tell us about your best holiday ever? I worked on Cruise ships in the Caribbean for a few years. Everyday felt like a holiday but one adventure on the island of Dominica to a mountain top cave waterfall takes the cake!

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself? I’m really keen to keep the spirit of Canowindra alive and vibrant into the future!
