Where do you work? I’m Manager of the Age of Fishes Museum
Have you always been involved in museums? No, when I left school I was a chemical engineer but I hated it so I became a chef. I was a chef for 12 years but the hours were anti-social so I didn’t see my kids as much as I’d like, I went to work for NSW National Parks and now here I am in Canowindra!
We hear you like to learn whilst working? I completed a degree in Applied Sciences then a Major in Cultural Heritage. I’m thinking about doing an honours degree in Palaeontology but undecided at the moment. I’d like to give it a break as I’ve been studying for 9 years straight.
Hobbies and interests? I enjoy all types of games especially strategy.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Look after five children, I don’t have any spare time. That’s why I’ve got no hair!
New Years resolutions?
Not to study this year!
Worst habit?
Drinking too much coke and not doing up shoelaces
If you won the lotto what would you spend the money on?
I’d go on holiday with my family, show the kids some culture
