How long have you lived in Canowindra and what do you like about living here?
35 years. I like the friendly people the country air and flying hot air balloons.
Where do you work and what do you enjoy about work? I run Balloon Joy Flights and I enjoy the freedom and flexibility it gives me. I also like meeting the interesting people who come for balloon rides.
With your involvement in the Balloon Challenge what are your roles throughout the event? I am the Chairman and main organiser. My role is to ensure the event runs smoothly.
What do you enjoy most about the Balloon Challenge? Seeing our town full of people and the wonderful economic benefit it provides for Canowindra.
What are you really good at? Nothing.
If you could have a super power which one would you choose and why? To own a magic genie lamp and to know how to use it so I could wish for anything.
What do you do to unwind after work or on the weekends? Enjoy a glass or two of good wine.
Tell us about your best holiday ever?
I have had two. First one was driving the German Alpine Road and the second was camping in Arnhem land.
