Our Bloke – Garry Hundal

22 July, 2021 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

How long have you lived in or around Canowindra, and what do you like about living here? Almost three years. The thing I like the most about living here is that the people are friendly.

How are you involved in the Canowindra community? When I came to work at Foodworks I didn’t know anyone. I went out to the pub for a beer and started chatting with random people. Now they’re friends, and are interested in talking about where I have come from and my family.

Where do you work and what do you enjoy most about your work? I’m the manager of Foodworks. I enjoy serving the local people, and helping them find everything they want.

What are you good at? Talking and music (I DJ).

What is your pet hate? When people whinge about something, yet the solution is easy.

What is on your bucket list? I haven’t seen my family in the last eight years. I’d like to go overseas and see my parents in India.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? It would be to make everyone happy.

Tell us about your best holiday ever. Visiting the Snowy Mountains.

What makes your day? When people smile at me.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself. I can play all different types of music.
