Our Bloke – Chris Kinsela

19 August, 2021 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

How long have you lived in or around Canowindra? What do you like about living here? I’m a born and bred Canowindra boy. I love the small town hospitality and country living.

How are you involved with the community? My business sponsors various sporting events every year.

Where do you work? What do you enjoy most about where you work? I’m the Licensee and owner of Canowindra Real Estate. I always get a kick out of finding the right home for buyers and being able to ‘talk up’ the Canowindra community.

What do you do to unwind on weekends? I love to relax with a beer and catch up with mates (if COVID ever leaves us alone), and also enjoy going horse riding or farm work with my beautiful partner Louise.

What are you really good at? Louise would say drinking beer.

What’s your pet hate? People being late.

What’s on your bucket list? Sky-diving and a trip to Canada.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? The power to heal. There’s too much sickness in the world.

Tell us about your best holiday ever… Our shooting trip with the boys every year. No further comment.

What makes your day? Hearing from my kids.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself… I have recently finished building a customised Bedford J1. I completely stripped it back to the chassis and re-built it by myself. Only took 12 months and nearly two fingers (Things you do in COVID times).
