Our Bloke – Chris Cuddy

14 May, 2020 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what do you like about living here? I’ve been here since the end of 1999, I love the community atmosphere in Canowindra, the interesting and creative people. It’s a great town to raise a family in!

Where do you work and what do you enjoy most about your work? I run Perennialle Plants Nursery, and I love growing interesting, unique plants for avid gardeners, collectors and botanic gardens. We post plants and garden tools all over the eastern states.

What do you do to unwind after work or on weekends? Hang out with the family.

What are you really good at? PLANTS!

What is your pet hate? Poor grammar, especially inappropriate apostrophe use.

If you could have a super power what would it be and why? The ability to clone myself, I could do with a few more of me to get everything done!

Tell us about your best holiday ever? Travelling to Central Australia for 6 weeks with the family, we camped and had 2 weeks in an indigenous community. Something to treasure.

What makes your day? Rain, then sunshine!

What have you been doing during the lockdown? Flat out doing mail orders, COVID has meant everyone is gardening and our website has seen lots of orders.
