How long have you lived in or around Canowindra and what do you like about living here? I arrived in Canowindra in 1974 from Melbourne where I was born. So have been here around 46 years. I like the country atmosphere and friendly people in the Canowindra area.
Where do you work and what do you enjoy most about your work? I retired in 2014 after 19 years as the Canowindra Librarian where you meet such a diverse range of people. The work was interesting and rewarding.
What do you do to unwind after work or on weekends? During the week and weekends when home we do the normal stuff and relax out the back with a beer. Other times we go out to Wyangala Dam to our holiday cabin.
What are you really good at? Relaxing and fishing but not necessarily catching much and having a 4WD, towing our caravan anywhere around Australia.
What is your pet hate? Bigger towns, cities and traffic lights.
If you could have a super power what would it be and why? Travel to outer space to visit our neighbours, they are out there just a bit shy.
Tell us about your best holiday ever? Travelling right around Australia twice in the last six years. No matter how many times you might do it you will never see it all. Australia is a very big country.
What makes your day? Getting up kissing the wife then getting our breakfast.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself? Between 2017 and 2018 I had both hips totally replaced. Going good as ever now though.
