Business Orange have organised for Cate Campbell OAM, multiple Olympic Swimming Medallist and Australian icon, to visit Orange next month to raise awareness for community initiatives and headline a local lunch event.
Central to her visit, Cate will be delivering a keynote address to local community and business leaders on Thursday 19th June 2025 at The Orange Ex-Services Club.
Ms Campbell said: “I’m so excited to be heading back to Orange – it’s been about seven years since my last visit, so it’ll be great to return. I’m really looking forward to connecting with local business owners and community members at the keynote event and sharing some of the lessons I’ve learnt throughout my career.”
Ms Campbell will visit Ronald McDonald House during her visit and will also be attending Orange Aquatic Centre to run a swim clinic with local competitive swimmers.
“I’m also thrilled to have the opportunity to give back while I’m in town. I’ll be running a swim clinic with some of the local young swimmers and visiting Ronald McDonald House to help prepare meals. Cooking and nutrition are close to my heart, and it’s a privilege to support the families staying there in a small but meaningful way,” said Ms Campbell.
Cate Campbell is a legendary figure in Australian swimming, renowned for her incredible speed and fierce competitive spirit in freestyle events. Over her illustrious career, she has won three Olympic gold medals in the 4x100m freestyle relay, set multiple world records, and won multiple World Champion events.
Ms Campbell is widely recognised for her leadership, having played an integral role within Australian swimming. Outside of sport Cate has been awarded the Order of Australia Medal, is a respected commentator and has worked with several causes and charities.
