It has been confirmed Canowindra will not be hosting the 100 Mile Dinner in 2016, which is disappointing news for the food lovers in our town and surrounding villages. “We will not be hosting a 100 mile dinner in 2016,” a media release from Canowindra @ Home said, “the good news is we probably
will host one in 2017.”
“We all know how much you love the event and we all love hosting it but in 2016 we will have to content ourselves with one of the other great local food events.” Canowindra@home operate, host or participate in a number of exciting food related events each year. So that everybody can keep up with what’s happening they have decided to create a calendar of events for the whole year. If you have a food related event for consideration for inclusion in the calendar please send this through.
Many of Canowindra’s much-loved annual events with a focus on food will be returning in 2016, including Windowrie’s Long Lunch in October, the Twilight Market on the October long weekend, and Wallington Wines Blessing of the Harvest.
