More than 1,200 bike riders are preparing to descend on the Central West to tackle Bicycle Network’s annual Newcrest Orange Challenge this weekend. Bike riders will tackle three key routes that will travel through Orange, Canowindra, Cargo, Belubula Way, Mandurama and Forest Reefs.
The 70km ride will travel from Orange to Canowindra with 770m of climbing. The 100km ride will go from Canowindra to Orange
with 1,430m of climbing. The 170km ride will loop starting in Orange with 2,200m of climbing. A number of road closures and changes to traffic conditions will be made in Canowindra and along the riding route on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 March.
