The new shade sail is a welcome addition to the Preschool outdoor play area.
Canowindra Preschool Kindergarten Inc is pleased to announce the installation of a brand-new shade sail in the preschool’s outdoor play area—an initiative of the preschool’s Managing Committee, made possible through funding from the Village Enhancement Fund. The project was delivered in partnership with the Canowindra Progress Association and Cabonne Council.
The new shade structure provides muchneeded protection from the sun, allowing children to enjoy outdoor play and learning in a safer, more comfortable environment.
This project reflects the Managing Committee’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the preschool’s facilities and supporting the wellbeing of its children and staff.
Funding for the shade sail was secured through the Village Enhancement Fund, a Cabonne Council initiative that supports infrastructure improvements in local communities. The Canowindra Progress Association was instrumental in facilitating the application process and supporting the preschool throughout the project.
On behalf of the preschool, Acting Service Manager Jennifer Schaefer said, “We are incredibly grateful for the support from both Cabonne Council and the Canowindra Progress Association. The new shade sail will make a big difference in the day-to-day experiences of our children.”
