Matthew Christensen, Cabonne Council and Danielle Greentree from Constructive Solutions Pty Ltd at the meeting.
Over 40 people attended the presentation at The Canowindra Bowling Club last Thursday night to view the proposed Canowindra network for footpaths and bike paths.
Matthew Christensen represented Cabonne Council and together with Danielle Greentree, from consultancy firm Constructive Solutions Pty Ltd they were able to show the current footpaths and then the proposed new footpaths together with footpaths which would need some work.
This series of presentations has been conducted by Cabonne Council over the past week for all of the villages in Cabonne with a total of just over $9M to be spent on footpaths proposed over the ensuing years.
The plans will be on display at the Council Office in Gaskill St over the coming weeks. If you have a suggestion or recommendation then make sure you advise Council of what this is. These plans are still in the formulative stage however the footpaths will need to be prioritised before going to a Council meeting for signoff.
The result from this first meeting was very positive and people expressed their thanks to Cabonne Council for all the good work that had already been carried out in the town.
