Last Thursday residents, staff, families of Moyne and the Canowindra Community came together to raise money for Dementia Australia with a morning and afternoon tea in our Rosemary and Thyme Café. With a goal of raising $200, Melissa Delaney, Lifestyle Services Coordinator was beyond amazed when $776 was raised on the day.
“I am so very humbled by the generosity of the Moyne Family, and I am sure Dementia Australia will be very appreciative of our support.
“Thanks so much to everyone for joining in this wonderful event. It is the first time we have supported a charity with such outstanding contributions,” said Melissa.
The success of the event was also thanks to the efforts of Lifestyle Assistant Kath and Barista Danielle.
