The Moorbel Hall Committee would like to thank the Canowindra community for their ongoing support of the hall over the past years and are excited to announce some new additions to the hall.
Maureen Bermingham, President of the Moorbel Hall Committee was very excited to show the Phoenix the new items in and around the hall on a recent visit last week.
The kitchen now features a new double door fridge, two new rangehoods and a new kitchen fan. “Thanks must go to the Canowindra community who support the hall at our monthly markets, we wouldn’t be able to organise all these new things without them,” said Maureen.
Bob and Pat Grimshaw must also be thanked for the generous donation of 10 Flowering Gums which are being planted in and around the car park to provide much needed shade in the summer months.
The next project is for the ladies and men’s toilets to be re-painted.
Long term plans for the hall include a brand new floor in the main section and for the outside of the hall to be fully re-painted.
The Moorbel Hall is a great community asset that is used for the Moorbel Hall Markets once a month, weddings, birthday parties and anniversaries and fitness classes.
