Hello readers, welcome to this month’s column. As you are all aware I have sold Deli Lama which means I can concentrate on Montrose House full time, so you can say I am semi-retired and loving it. The first week of November I hosted a superb Melbourne Cup luncheon for 35 ladies. It was a wonderful day with beautiful outfits and a scrumptious lunch enjoyed by all. There was a fashion parade by Donna Mirto of ‘Frock On’ and the ladies then ventured to the Club to watch the big race and returned to the house for a High Tea to finish the day.
Saturday 5th November was my Hamptons Party to celebrate my birthday and retirement from Deli Lama. 120 people attended from all over the district including English friends and people from Sydney, Orange and Canberra. There was lots of dancing, laughter and good catch ups. A sensational buffet dinner was served followed by a Mandy Townsend birthday cake creation, a great night had by all.
This week I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for Chris Miller and Amanda Jasprizza who were married at the Curran’s property ‘Noojee Lea’ on Saturday. 25 friends and family enjoyed Montrose. The groom and groomsmen stayed overnight so after a big brekkie Saturday followed by golf I cooked them all lunch and got them dressed up for the wedding – ANOTHER service we provide.
Finally, Sunday 13th I hosted a Christening Lunch for good mate Danielle Kinsela’s sons, Archie and Banjo in a blue themed room with lots of boy’s toys. It was a great group of good friends and family celebrating this wonderful milestone in the family’s life. Don’t forget to book in now for all your Christmas parties. We cater for cocktail parties through to sit down dinners or enjoy our lovely gardens and the gorgeous sunny weather and celebrate your Christmas party outside. The house is beautifully decorated to bring the Christmas cheer. Give me a call on 6344 1006.
Take care, best wishes
