Hello readers, welcome to this month’s column from Montrose House. We’ve been very busy with dinners and lunches over the last month including an Australia Day luncheon hosted by Faye Wright from Cowra and a large group of Cowra, Canowindra and Billimari Folks with a beautiful Aussie style meal of barramundi, damper and trifle enjoyed by all.
We had two 80th birthday lunches on Saturday, one for Cowra lady Jacqui Farrar and another for local lady Pam Leach and family – beautiful groups of happy families enjoying our house. This month is going to be busy for birthdays with an 80th as well as a 90th birthday coming up. We will also
be hosting a Christening and this year we will have our first wedding at the house which I am very excited for with a Southern style Atlantic theme.
This Saturday I am delighted to host former local Judy Stone with a reunion of
friends from all over the district. We will also be hosting a huge belated Christmas party on Saturday 20th for the team at Jamiesons Joinery from Cowra.
Our 1st First Wives Club luncheon for the year is Thursday 18th February from 12 noon. It will be a fabulous luncheon with a guest speaker, we have lots of people already booking. Come along and meet new people and enjoy the wonderful, warm atmosphere.
Put on your best frock and have an enjoyable lunch out. Bookings at Deli
Lama with Tommy. I am also looking forward to catering the International Women’s Day luncheon on the 10th March at the Bowling Club and to
make this a really sensational day. There will be beautiful, fresh local produce, delicious food and a guest speaker, top day out girls.
Don’t forget we’re available for all types of functions and catering as well as being family and pet friendly with a large backyard and 3 dining rooms available.
Take care, best wishes
