Montrose House

7 October, 2015 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

With all the renovating and building at the old Riverbank Gallery in the last month, the question on everyone’s lips is what and when? Owner and operator Tommy Jeffs from Deli Lama happily answers those questions. “I wanted to create something really special for the people in and around Canowindra Town,” Tommy said. “A place for family reunion dinners, wedding anniversary parties, Christening and birthday dinners or lunches, Christmas parties, staff parties and the like.”

“We have three areas; the sumptuous Tuscany Dining Room which seats 30-40 people, the Southampton Dining Room for private dinner parties of 10-12 people or the Terrace Area which seats 12-20 people for tapas or seafood.”

“Menus are discussed and we provide all your requirements like linen, fine china and crystal wear to suit all tastes and budgets.” “We have already hosted a family reunion and a sensational 80th birthday lunch which was special,” said Tommy.

“We are already booked for a small wedding with the bride getting dressed in the Audrey Hepburn Suite and getting married in our garden with a finger food reception,” Tommy said.

There are also two gorgeous rooms for Bed and Breakfast with a luxurious bathroom and guest library. Let’s hope Tommy’s new venture is a great addition to this thriving town.
