This weekend marked the first and second rounds of the club championships, where Tony Beath delivered outstanding performances, winning the nett events with scores of 68 and 69. On Saturday, Barry Rue finished as the runner-up with a nett 70, while on Sunday, Mark Wren also posted a nett 70, winning on countback over Robbie Lawrence.
After 36 holes, the leaders are Doug Flannery in A grade, Tony Beath in B grade, and David Carman in C grade. The next rounds will take place next weekend, with tee-off scheduled for 11am.
