Last Saturday a consistency singles match was played with Dool Beath against Vinnie Mirto. The scores were close throughout the game with Dool holding a slender lead until the 26th end when the scores were level at 140 all. Vinnie was able to score enough points over the last two ends to win the match 152-148.
Last Sunday an O’Brien Cup match was played with Roger Traves and Brian Mc- Clintock against Phil Lees and Nick Delaney. Roger and Brian took the lead early in the game and maintained it to win the match 25-20.
Saturday August 10: Consistency singles final V Mirto V T Tuimauga, Marker I Nelder.
Sunday August 11: Minor fours – K Walker, L Nunn, P Markcrow and T Tuimauga V D Watt, A Wyburn, W Fisher and B Mc- Clintock.
Nominations are now called for the mixed pairs and also the major and minor triples. Memberships for 2019-2020 are now due.
Wednesday badge draw will be $1200, Friday badge draw will be $1400 and Sunday badge draw will be $450.
