Canowindra boys win first zone playoff.
Last Saturday our no5s played their first round in the zone pennants against Orange City at Canowindra.
With Orange well in front most of the game, our boys fought back right at the last few ends to take the game by just one shot, 61-60. This helps a lot to be going to Glenbrook in 2 weeks to have a win plus 1. Well done & best of luck.
Next weekend being the long weekend the only games to be played will be the semi-finals of the minor pairs,
N & J Preston vs. R Lynch & E Earsman, J Breen & D Sargent v B Bates & M Baldwin. This game to be played within a week.
