Last Saturday the final of the major pairs was played with Cyril and Bruce Webb against Steve Kirkman and Ian Nelder. Steve and Ian were not able to bridge the gap with Cyril and Bruce winning the final 17-8.
A major singles match was also played with Vinnie Mirto against Peter Taylor. Vinnie was able to score 7 shots on the last 3 ends to win the game 31-27.
Sunday June 24 – Fuzz Thompson Memorial Triples Tournament. Play commences at 9.30am. Three games of 12 ends being a round robin tournament with two games played prior to lunch. Total prize money of $1,320. Entry fee being $75 per team including Chinese lunch.
