The consistency competition keeps giving, with relative new bowlers showing good form and coming up with a win.
Tim De Lange defeated Marc Stevens 151/129. Marc gave away a small lead due to the handicap and was unable to catch Tim. Tim maintained a lead and on occasion, when Marc got close in the score
Tim responded with strong performance to keep the ball rolling.
We now are waiting for Greg and Tony to play and hopefully the winner can play Jamie Grant on the weekend.
The travelling bowlers had good tournaments over the weekend with Greg Chester and Jamie Stewart leading the honours taking 4th place in the Cowra pairs tournament.
Congratulations to all the board members elected on Sunday and welcome to the new incoming team.
Badge draws this week are Wednesday $850, Friday $1,300 and Sunday $600.
Social bowls will be played on Friday at 6pm and Thursday afternoon at 2pm.
Thanks to all for making our Melbourne cup punts and platters a great event. Hope you had some luck on the afternoon.
