An O’Brien Cup game was played on the weekend with Brent and Corey going into the match as slight favourites. Keith and Lisa had a good start with their handicap giving them a 9 shot start. Corey and Brent tried valiantly to bridge the gap but Keith and Lisa form held good and went onto win 27/16.
The final will hopefully be played soon against Michael and Graham.
Social bowls on Monday had 14 players and a fun afternoon was had with Jamie S and Paul Marcrow coming away with the chocolates.Thanks for Sharon cooking the beef and gravy and the curry sausage rolls.
The Sunday session was well attended with many visitors and members taking the opportunity to come and listen to Michael Wynne great performance.Thanks to Elena and Ellie for their help organising the event.
Friday Twilight bowls commences this Friday with name in by 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
Mixed pairs nominations are now open and close on Monday 26 October, with the first round on 4 November at 6pm for all players.
