There were four four games of consistency singles on played on Sunday 28 Septem­ber.

Harry Webb had a hard fought victory over Crock Watt. On the 23rd end Crock scored a 9/1 to close the gap to only three points, next end was even with the score 149/146, anyone’s match. Harry secured

win with 9/1 result taking the game 158/147.

In the second game, Eryn Traves-Kin­sela pushed Brad Bourke most of the way with the score midway 100/90. Brad played good bowls to increase his lead from then on to win 150/130.

Jamie Stewart played well to defeat Caine Rooke 151/114 in the third game of the day.Jamie got to a strong position early and held on to win.

In the final game, Tim played well against Marc with the scores even on the 15th end 100/101. Marc proved too strong in the concluding end of the game 150/118.

This Saturday 4 October, we have more consistency singles games with a 12pm start:

• Larry v Roger, marker Crock

• Tot v Jamie Grant, market TBASunday 5 October the match will be:

• Tony T v Bob Cann, marker TBA.

Social bowls will be played on Monday at 1.30pm, cash prizes depending numbers, $10 entries blind draw for teams.

Badge draws for this week are Wednes­day $650, Friday $400 and Sunday $350.

Nominations close soon for board of di­rectors with the AGM being held 19 Octo­ber at 1pm.
