Two competition games were played Saturday highlighted by the final of the major pairs. Brent Lees (backing up from a morning game) and David Crowe were too classy for Peter Taylor and Jamie Stewart. It was a master class from the red hot favourites winning 27/6. Congratulations on making the final.
In the morning Phil and Brent Lees and Jamie Grant played Jack and Harry Webb and Caine Rooke. Both teams showed glimpses of their form. Jamie Grant led well after a nervous start. Phil’s team went on to win 30/20 in a major triples match. Note all major triples are two bowls and 25 ends in line with zone matches.
There was great entertainment over the weekend and the reunion of the 95 winning
Tigers team. It was a great old boys day on Saturday evening, supporting the victorious Tigers against Cowra.
The badge draws this week are: Wednesday $250, Friday $200 and Sunday $150.
