Last Friday night 14 teams played mixed mufti triples bowls and competed for $210 in prize money proudly sponsored by BCIB In- surance. The winners were the team of MC Mullen, M Cramp and Nancy Morrow while the runners up were the Gooloogong team of Gwen Daph and Ron. Last Saturday a major singles match was played with Ian Nelder against B Lees. It was a close game with the lead changing several times with the score being 30 all on the second last end. Ian won the game 31-30 after a meas- ure to determine the shot bowl. Thanks to Steve Kirkman who did an excellent job marking his first game of singles.
Last Sunday the first round of pennants was played. The No 5’s won 9 points to 1 against Parkes while the No 7’s went down to Gooloogong 10 points to nil.

Barefoot twilight bowls will continue on Friday March 10 with names in by 6.00pm for 6.30pm start. All welcome.There is a balloon flight raffle kindly donated by Balloon Joy Flights and a hamper of goodies to the value of $200 to be drawn on Friday April 21. Tick- ets can be purchased at Belubula Butchery, Central Motors and the Bowling Club. Tickets are $2 each or 3 tickets for $5. The monster raffle will be drawn on the same night. Wednesday badge draw is $1,200 and Friday badge draw is $400. Bingo this Thursday 11am.
