Men’s Bowls

7 May, 2025 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

It was great to see a full green of players on Sunday. In major singles Jamie Grant and Barry Bourke had a tremendous match with which Jamie drew the winning shot to win 25/24 on an interesting last end of bowls.

David Crowe led Brian McClintock 13/5 ,the match will continue a later date. Brad Bourke had comfortable win over Cristy Webb Sullivan.

In a minor pairs Marc Steven’s and Greg Chester went to a big early lead and went on to win. Michael and Graham Traves fought back in the second half of the game but could not bridge the gap. Eryn Traves Kinsela and Greg Wright had a forfeit from Sparky and Ken.
