Firstly a correction from last week, the report should have read: Jamie coached Mitch to the win in the first 3 games at Manildra.
There were two consistency games on Sunday, 1st September. Firstly, we had a Ben Rooke in red hot form defeat new bowler Jamie Stewart. Ben quickly ran the start on the scoreboard down and went to a big lead, with Ben eventually winning 152/128.
In the other game, David Crowe defeated Brian McClintock in a nail biter. Brian had a slight lead with the handicap event and maintained it until the 21st end when Crowey went the lead 117/113 on the 24th end. Brian regained the lead and maintained the lead by the slimmest of margins. On the final end, crowey scored an 8/2 result which resulted in a win 152/142. It was a truly great game. Thanks to the markers.
