Firstly, there was a very good roll-up of social bowlers for the Hospital Cup last Friday night.The event had to be postponed from the previous Friday night due to the weather and daylight saving finishing possibly influencing numbers.
Winners on the night were Roger Traves and Joyce Borland, with Joyce playing exceptional bowls on the evening. Next Friday is the presentation dinner evening for all Friday night bowlers, please put your name on the sheet for catering purposes. Congratulations to the organisers for a great summer of twilight bowls.
Thursday social bowls continues to draw good numbers and the Jackpot is slowly building.Thursday afternoon bowls will continue throughout the winter months with a 2pm start.
Amazing results for our pennants teams with two great wins last weekend. The 6s travelled to sunny Oberon for their first match. In surprisingly good weather, some of the team had their first experience on synthetic green. They won all three rinks and came away with a 81/47 and 10 points.Thank you to the players who provided transport.
The 7s bounced back from their first round loss with a tremendous win over Woodstock on a tricky green. They won two rinks and drew the other, coming away with 91/2 to 1/2 63/49 on the big board.

The 7s have a bye this week and the 6s head to Millthorpe for a 11am start with transport leaving no later than 9.30am. Please pick up your bowls no later than Saturday. Pennant teams are:
