Men’s Bowls

20 December, 2023 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Jack Daintith wowed the crowd at the Bowling Club’s Sunday Session last weekend.

Twelve bowlers turned out for Thursday afternoon jackpot bowls. The jackpot was not won and is now up to $400. Thursday afternoon bowls will continue throughout the holiday periods. There have been excellent prizes for all the winners and runner’s up.

The popular ‘Sunday Session at the Bowlo’ returned last weekend with a tremendous number of members and guest supporting the event.

Jack Daintith entertained the crowd with his great musically talented performance. He sang a fabulous array of songs to suit all tastes. The highlight of the afternoon was the attendance of Santa Claus, which was well received by many of the children present. It was also great to see so many kids having a go at the bowls. There was carnival atmosphere with a great number having a crack at drawing to the hundred dollar note on the green. The men’s BBQ also had great support. Thanks to all the organisers and support staff for a fantastic event.

The badge draws for this week are Wednesday $200, Friday $1000, and Sunday $200.

We wish all our members and guests a merry Christmas and happy new year. Holiday period opening times are on our facebook page and at the Club.
