Harry Webb, Christy Sullivan, Ben Rooke and Tracey Sul-livan competed in the final of the mixed pairs on Monday night, with Ben and Christy the winners.
The conclusion of bowls for Canowindra Men’s Bowls Club was completed on Monday night with the final of mixed pairs.
Ben and Christy proved too strong for family counterparts with a comprehensive victory. Well done for Harry and Tracey for reaching their second final of mixed pairs. A good crowd was on hand to witness the final which was very pleasing for the finalists.
It was a great turn out for Friday twilight bowls, with 24 players attending. Winners were Steve and Greg and all bowlers enjoyed a BBQ after bowls.
There were no bowls on Thursday due to the weather. The jackpot is now $550, names need to be in by 1:30pm for a 2pm start. For Friday twilight bowls, names need to be in by 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
We will be holding a Movember fundraising dinner night on Saturday, 25th November, including a prawn and chicken dinner followed by music. Bookings can be made at the club.
The first Sunday Sesssion of summer will be held on Sunday 17th December and this will also be the Christmas party for members and their guest. Check out the Canowindra Bowking Club facebook page or at the club for details.
The major jackpot night is coming up on Sunday, 3rd December after the regular draws. Hams will commence ont the first Friday in December as part of the meat raffles. The Club badge draws were not won with Wednesday $400, Friday $500 and Sunday $750.
