There were some close games in the mixed pairs last week, with all games completed. Thursday asfternoon social bowls had a great turnout with 16 bowlers, the jackpot now stands at $480. Friday twilight bowls had an excellent rollup, remember to have names in by 6 pm.
On Sunday 22nd October, the semi final of the O’Brien Cup was played with M Lawrence and M Lees defeating B Rooke and B McClintock.
The final of the O’Brien Cup will be played at 1pm, this Sunday 29th October between M Lawrence and M Lees v D Crowe and F Barton. It is sure to be a great match.
Social bowls will be played at 1pm on Saturday 28th October and 2pm Thursday 26th October.
The Club will open at 10am on Melbourne Cup day, Tuesday 7th November. Watch the races and counter food available.
