Minor singles, final winner Ben Rooke and runner-up Tot Fisher.

Games for this weekend are:

O’Brien Cup, Saturday 7th at 11am

• Dool and Fitzy v Ben and Clinka

• Roger and Eryn v Brent and Caine

1pm social bowls for all other men’s bowling club members with the AGM at 4pm.

Consistency Final, Sunday 8th at 1pm

• David Crowe V Westy marker Teddy 

Results from last week:

Roger and Westy had a close game in the Consistency semi-final with Westy winning 150/145. In the other semi-final David Crowe v Mathew Lawrence, the game was evenly matched early, with David finally winning with a strong finish.

Tot fisher defeated Brien McClintock in the Minor Singles semi-final with a comprehensive display. 

On Sunday the final was played with Ben Rook recording his first singles title in a terrific match. Scores were close all way through with little between both players. Ben went on to win 25/23. Congratulations to both players, thanks for Caine marking.

It was a good roll up on Thursday with 15 players. The jackpot not now stands at $395.

On a warm Monday afternoon of the long weekend, 14 players ventured out for a social bowls. We had a international flavour with some players having their first hit out at bowling. The winners were Tony and Matty (from Germany) with Ben and Hayden runners-up.

Friday night bowls is commencing this Friday 6th October at 6pm, there will be a BBQ for all players. The weekly badge draws are Wednesday $100, Friday $400 and Sunday $450.
