Fours winners, P Taylor, P Kennedy, D Beath and R Traves.

No games will be played this Saturday due to Canowindra Show, but there will be three games on Sunday 24th September.

Minor Singles: Brian McClintock v Caine Rooke Marker D Watt. Ben Rooke v Jack Webb. Marker Jamie Grant.

Consistency Singles: Nigel Knight v Allen Wyburn Marker R Traves.

On Saturday last weekend we witnessed a great game of Fours. The final had many twists and turns and great bowls from both teams . D Beath, R Traves, P Taylor and P Kennedy came from behind to snatch victory from R Fitzgerald, M Lawrence, P Jones and A Robson. The game had the scores locked at 23/23 after mandatory 21 ends. On the extra end Dool’s team secured victory with a single shot , final score 24/23.

Consistency singles on Sunday saw M Lawrence return to defeat J Webb 151/114. Mathew secured a solid win with 18 point in two ends late in the match.

It was a great turnout on Thursday with 12 bowlers having a crack at the jackpot. The jackpot was not won, so it’ will be over $200 this Thursday. Badge draws this week are Wednesday $950, Friday $300 and Sunday $350. Good luck to bowlers travelling to Yass.
