The annual Cheesy Phillip Makin Memorial Golf/Bowls day was held on Saturday, 25th February. It was a great day of fellowship and sport with golfers turning into bowlers and vice versa.
Canowindra Boling Club had 42 players in the event, a great turn out. Thanks for all the helpers and organisers, meals greens and bar staff of both venues.
There were great results for the pennant teams last weekend, the 7’s won 9 to 1 against Woodstock. The 6’s won 9-1 against a strong Milthorpe side. This week the 6’s at home against Orange city, 10am start. The 7’s travel to Cowra.
Competition games for minor and major are on the notice board, played by mutual agreement. Minor fours final programme for Saturday, 4th March.
