Last Friday night eight bowlers played mixed mufti bowls with the winners being Steve Kirkman and Sharon Wynn. The runners up were Larry Nunn and Jenny Middleton.
Last Sunday two consistency matches were played.
Roger Traves played Crock Watt. The scores in this game were close all the way through, with Crock just nudging out Roger, winning 154-151.
Ben Rooke played Tony Tuimauga where Ben continued his winning form defeating Tony 150-114.
Friday, 21 January: Twilight social mixed mufti bowls with all names needed to be in by 6pm for 6.30pm start.
Sunday, 23 January: Consistency Singles with B Rooke vs B Bourke and Marker A Wyburn. D Crowe vs J Webb and Marker H Webb.
Saturday, 29 January: Anniversary Open Triples Day. There is $1260 prize money up for grabs. Three games of 13 ends being played in a round robin tournament. Play commences at 9am. The cost of entry is $90 per team and includes lunch and high tea.
Sunday, 30 January: Ron Worboys Memorial Men’s Three Bowls Pairs. Up for grabs is $1,140 in prize money. Three games of 13 ends being played in a round robin tournament. Play commences 9am. $60 per team includes lunch and high tea.
Nominations are now open for the major and minor singles as well as the major and minor pairs.
The Wednesday Badge Draw will be $150. Friday Badge Draw will be $2,100. Sunday Badge Draw will be $600.
