Men’s Bowls

Last Wednesday, a mixed pairs match was played with Brad Bourke and Sharon Wynn against Roger Traves and Betty Jenkins. Brad and Sharon led throughout the game winning 28-22.

Last Saturday three mixed pairs matches were played. Brad Bourke and Sharon Wynn played against Steve Kirkman and Di Slattery. This was a close scoring game with the scores being 28-25 after 20 ends in favour of Brad and Sharon. In the end, things did not go the right way for Brad and Sharon. Allowing Steve and Di to score four shots and winning the match 29-28.

Tracy and Harry Webb played against Penny Nash and Mick Traves. This was another close scoring match with Penny and Mick winning 35-31.

Sue Rye and Larry Nunn played against Leanne West and Tony Tuimauga where Sue and Larry took control early in the match winning 36-19.

Last Sunday, an O’Brien Cup was played with Barney Robson and Toby Newcombe against Brad Bourke and Sparky Wright. Brad and Sparky led throughout the game winning 28-24. A mixed pairs match was also played with Jenny Middleton and Peter Taylor against Di and Terry Mooney. Di and Terry had a comfortable win 30-15.

Friday November 12: Twilight social mixed mufti bowls with names in by 6pm for 6.30pm start.

Saturday November 13th: Mixed pairs – T and D. Mooney VS Kirkman and D. Slattery. O’Brien Cup – M. Wright and B. Bourke VS D. Beath and N. Delaney. These games commence at 11am.

Sunday November 14th: O’Brien Cup – D. Crowe and W. Fisher VS Kirkman and I. Nelder. This game is to commence at 11am.

Mixed pairs: S. Rye and L. Nunn VS M. Traves and P. Nash. This match is to be played midweek with a time to be announced.
Zac Lees Fundraising Day has been rescheduled to Saturday December 4th. Original listings of names are on the notice board. If you are unavailable on the day, would you please cross your name off. Everyone is welcome to play.

Saturday November 13th: Tigers Footy Presentation is at 3pm.

Sunday November 14th: The Club’s AGM 3pm.

Wednesday badge draw will be $250. Friday badge draw will be $1100. Sunday badge draw will be $100. Bingo this Thursday 11.30pm.
