Last Saturday, a major fours match was played with Terry Mooney, Leanne West, Brian McClintock and Tot Fisher against Pat Kennedy, Peter Taylor, Dool Beath and Roger Traves. After 11 ends, Roger’s team had a big lead with the score being 16 to two. Somehow Tot’s team were able to score 15 shots in the second half of the game, only to lose by two shots, with Roger’s team winning 20-18.
Last Sunday, another major fours match was played with Westy Wyburn, Tony Tuimauga, Vinnie Mirto and David Crowe against Ben Rooke, Tracy Jack and Harry Webb. After 12 ends, the scores were close being 12-11 in favor of Harry’s team. Then Crowy’s team were able to edge away winning the game 28-14.
