Last Friday night, 24 players competed in mixed mufti bowls with the winners being Terry Mooney and Brad Bourke and the runners up being Crock Watt and Peter Taylor.

Last weekend, two major singles matches were played. Steve Kirkman played Harry Webb where Harry had a handy lead being 15-2 after 11 ends. Then Steve bridged the gap after 24 ends with the scores level at 19 all. Steve won the match 31-23. Nick Delaney played Teddy Lawrence where Nick took control of the game winning 31-19. Larry Nunn played Mark Wright in a minor singles match where Larry had a comfortable win 32-16. A major pairs match was played with Vinnie Mirto and Tony Tuimauga against Jack and Harry Webb. The scores were close in this game with the scores level at 17 all on the second last end. Vinnie and Tony won the last end winning 18-17.

Friday, March 26 – Twilight social mixed mufti bowls with names in by 6pm for 6:30pm start.

Sunday March 28 – Major pairs – D Beath and N Delaney V D Watt and L Nunn. Minor pairs – B McClintock and T Mooney V H and J Webb. Major singles- M Wright V B Bourke, Marker I Nelder.

Good luck to Peter Taylor, Roger Traves and David Crowe who travel to Grenfell this weekend to compete in the zone four senior triples.

Nominations are still called for the zone four singles and pairs.
Easter Sunday April 4 – Family triples: 1:30pm start. Mufti dress. One game of 15 ends being turn around triples.

Wednesday badge draw will be $250. Friday badge draw will be $600. Sunday badge draw will be $950. Bingo this Thursday 11am.
