Ten bowlers competed in mixed mufti bowls last Friday night with the winners being Di Slattery, Crock Watt and John and the runners up being Nigel Knight and Steve Kirkman.
Last Saturday, the final of the major fours was played with Phil Jones, Barney Robson, Teddy Lawrence and Richard Fitzgerald against Pat Kennedy, Peter Taylor, Dool Beath and Roger Traves. It was expected to be a close match considering the experience of both teams but it was Roger’s team who was always in control of the game eventually winning 25-15. Pat Kennedy was considered the most valuable player of the match.
Last Sunday, three consistency singles matches were played. Westy Wyburn played Tony Tuimauga with Tony leading throughout the match to go on to win 151-139.
