Last Sunday two Consistency Singles matches were played. Teddy Lawrence played Crock Watt with the scores reasonably close after 16 ends being 106-99 in favour of Crock. From then all Crock was able to edge away to win the game 156-129.
Harry Webb played Tony Tuimauga where Tony had a comfortable win 153-102. An O’Brien Cup match was also played with Steve Kirkman and Ian Nelder against Roger Traves and Brian McClintock. The scores were close throughout the game with the scores level at 24 all on the last end. Steve and Ian were able to win the extra end and the game 25-24.
Friday November 6 – Twilight social mixed mufti bowls with names in by 6pm for 6.30pm start.
Saturday November 7 – Consistency Singles- V Mirto v I Nelder and Marker D Beath. A Wyburn v N Delaney and Marker J Webb. W Fisher v S Kirkman and Marker H Webb. R Traves v L Nunn and Marker M Lawrence.
Sunday November 8 – Major Fours – P Jones, A Robson, M Lawrence and R Fitzgerald v T Mooney, W Fisher, S Kirkman and I Nelder. O’Brien Cup – J Webb and H Webb v V Mirto and B Bourke. Play to commence at 1.30pm on both days.
Wednesday badge draw will be $100, Friday badge draw will be $2,700 and Sunday badge draw will be $400. Don’t forget Bingo this Thursday at 11am.
